Designed to replace the traditional tweed shooting jacket whilst retaining the classic 'tweed look', the Lady Stornoway employs a modern fully waterproof membrane and a delightful Willow Green tweed pattern outer.
Classic design combines with Harkila's HWS modern waterproof, breathable membrane to give excellent weatherproof protection.
Outer is a soft to touch, durable, brushed polyester in a smart tweed look print pattern. Treated with a durable water repellent to repel water and prevent water logging to keep the jacket light and able to dry quickly, giving it a major advantage over traditional tweed.
Attractive check lining with a layer of thermally efficient lightweight Thermo Poly Shield™ padding. Cut in a roomy feminine fit for free movement. Robust two way zip beneath front storm placket. Real leather pull.
Seven pockets in total. 2 Handwarmer pockets with press stud closure and quick load straps. Zipped mobile pocket beneath storm placket is secure but easily accessible. Velcro closure inner pocket. Adjusting drawcord in waist and bottom hem. Adjusting cuffs.
Very much the classic country jacket, the Stornoway Shooting Lady offers a high technical specification alternative to traditional tweed. Harkila branded throughout.

The Harkila Weather System HWS® - How it Works Using hydrophilic membranes to draw moisture out, the membrane rapidly absorbs and removes perspiration, distributing it over the surface, where it rapidly evaporates and stabilises the temperature inside the garment. At the same time, the holes in the membrane are so small that they prevent water molecules from entering from outside. This is an innovative technology in a robust construction that both enhances adaptability and protects the shooter from the elements.
